1000-Lb Sisters remains one of TLC’s most popular reality shows. But nothing lasts forever. And after a new social media update from star Amanda Halterman, some viewers feel worried TLC might axe the show.

While speaking with fans during an Instagram update, Amanda admitted she couldn’t disclose certain details about her life until TLC officially canceled 1000-Lb Sisters. See what she had to say.

“Hey good afternoon first off you look amazing,” a fan wrote to Amanda on Instagram. “I was wondering if there was going to be a season…”

And as much as Amanda Halterman would love to address news and updates about upcoming seasons, her NDA with TLC forbids it. Tammy Slaton once shared details about a new season and the network quickly forced her to delete the post.

“Hey so unfortunately questions like this are things that get me into some hairy situations,” the TLC star replied. “So all the questions that you’re asking are great questions that I would love to address.”

“But I am still under a non-disclosure agreement and all of these things that you’ve asked are things that pertain to the show,” Amanda continued. “So until the show is officially canceled and everything has been aired I can’t give an update for myself, like exactly how much I weigh right now or where Chris and Tammy and Amy and Misty are because that’s all part of the show.”

Fans Panic Over The Idea Of A Cancelation

Amanda certainly didn’t suggest that TLC was thinking about canceling 1000-Lb Sisters. No show lasts forever and she only meant she can’t speak about the show until the network pulls the plug. After all, Sister Wives has 19 Seasons and will likely get a 20th.

As long as TLC can make money off a series and the cast members are willing to continue, the show goes on. But even so, fans grew worried about the situation.

Instagram users wrote:

  • I really hope it’s not canceled!!!😒”
  • Nooo so it’s going to be canceled 😒😒😒😒😒😒😒 I love watching you guys”
  • I know darn well they didn’t cancel my favorite show. Plz say it ain’t so.”
  • I really hope it doesn’t get canceled πŸ™ I love this show”
