‘RHOP’ Season 9 Reunion Could Feature Karen Huger Amid Rehab
The Season 9 RHOP reunion could feature Karen Huger even though she has entered rehab. She had been MIA for the highly anticipated reunion which followed her DUI but now it seems she will still be there in some capacity. So, what does that mean? Keep reading for more details.
RHOP Season 9 Reunion Could Feature Karen Huger
Karen Huger is a major force to be reckoned with on RHOP and fans know this. Unfortunately, in March 2024, Huger was in a car wreck while driving under the influence. She then headed to court on December 18th, 2024 where she was charged with DUI, negligent driving, failure to control speed to avoid a collision, and failure to notify authorities of an address change. There was also extensive body cam footage, according to Deadline, which painted the Grand Dame in a very poor light. She admitted that she should have taken a cab but then, she began talking a bunch of nonsense.
Karen also declined to do a breathalyzer and field sobriety test. Finally, she alleged that she was “Thomas Jefferson’s concubine.” Currently, it is unclear what will happen but she did end up entering a rehab facility which caused her to miss the Season 9 reunion filming. Some initially felt she chose to skip it which is the kiss of death for housewives. RHOBH alum, Adrienne Maloof did not show up to a reunion which caused her to be fired. Lisa Vanderpump shared she would not be attending the Season 9 RHOBH reunion and subsequently, was done with the series. That was because she knew Andy Cohen and Bravo would let her go.

When the RHOP reunion seating chart was revealed and Karen Huger was not on it, everyone was curious:
- Where is Karen ??
- Where’s Kurn
- Naurrrr Karen im so done diva
According to Monsters & Critics, Andy Cohen made it clear that Karen will be a part of the reunion in some capacity:
“Karen was not there, but she was there. There was some movement in the Karen Huger camp.”
Regardless of how she appears, Andy noted that this is the “best” ever regarding reunions for the franchise.
The Timing
RHOP fans are curious as to why Karen Huger chose the reunion to head to rehab. They questioned why not go right after the DUI or sometime close. Ultimately, they just believed she did not want to be held accountable for her actions:
- Interesting timing. Why didn’t this “meaningful journey” start months ago – like after the arrest?
- People predicting she wouldn’t turn up to the reunion to avoid all this were really right.
- Thomas Jefferson’s concubine avoiding accountability. I’m shocked.
- I hope she gets help and gets treatment but the timing of all those is fishy AF.
- Like glad you’re getting help girl, but how dumb do you think we are? Obviously timed it out to skip the reunion and avoid criticism. She hasn’t learned.
One person compared Karen to LuAnn De Lesseps who went to rehab and missed the RHONY Season 11 reunion. She ended up doing a one-on-one with Andy after she left rehab. It will be interesting to see what part Karen plays.
