Jenna Bush Hager Is Officially In Her ‘Dating Era’

Jenna Bush Hager jokingly talks about her new ‘dating era’ as she is starting her new solo fourth hour of Today with Jenna & Friends. However, she also has her first celebrity co-host of the show joining her. Keep reading to find out who.

Jenna Bush Hager’s Background

Jenna Bush Hager is a 43-year-old American news personality, author, and journalist. She was born on November 25, 1981, in Dallas, Texas. Her parents are George W. Bush the 43rd U.S. President and former First Lady Laura Bush. She also has a fraternal twin sister named Barbra, the twins are also the granddaughters of the 41st U.S. President George H.W. Bush. Jenna attended the University of Texas at Austin and took summer classes at New York University.

While attending college Jenna and her sister got into some legal trouble and both got arrested for alcohol-related charges, twice, within five weeks. However, in April of 2001 Jenna was charged with possession of alcohol under the age of 21 and then again in May of 2001 she was charged again with attempting to use a fake ID. The fake ID name is her grandmother Barbra Pierce a former First Lady. However, she graduated from the university with a degree in English in 2004. At the age of 26 Jenna married her husband Henry Hager and they have three children together. Mila Hager,12, Poppy Hager, 10, and Hal Hager,6.

The new chapter of Jenna & Friends was showcased on January 13, 2025, after the departure of Hoda Kotb. On Bush Hager’s first show, she was joined by the actress Taraji P. Henson as the celebrity co-host. However, they started the show talking about the California fires, and then Jenna jokingly said she was in her dating era since she was a “child bride”. Also, Bush Hager showed praise and appreciation to Henson for coming on the show despite her city being demolished by the fires. Jenna posted a new Instagram photo of her in a pink coat running with a cup of coffee in hand on her first day as the main host, the post reads,

” Strutting into new beginning #JennaandFriends.”

Hoda and Jenna hosted Today with Hoda & Jenna since 2019. However, now that Hoda decided to leave the show after 17 years. Jenna can step into a new era of hosting by being the main host. Although Kotb is gone, Bush Hager has learned valuable lessons from her former co-host and shares her experiences with Kotb in a positive light.
