Most recently, with the latest season coming to an end, fans are starting to question why the most recent run is shorter than usual.

Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch has been running since 2021. Throughout the series, viewers have watched Duane and Chad Ollinger look for treasure and uncover underground caverns at the titular ranch. All the while, locals fear that a curse haunts the area.

The fourth season is set to air its season finale on Wed, January 15, 2025. Officially, the season technically started in late November, but with a noticeable break in mid-December, fans only had a few weeks to watch the series resume after its January return.

Likewise, the season has eight episodes, which is close to how long the second and third season were. However, some fans still feel like things are ending too soon.

One Fan Rumor Claims There Soon Might Be More To Come,

In a recent post on the show’s Reddit page, one fan asked, “What’s going on with this season?” As they continued, “Why is the season ending after only being on for only five weeks?”

One fan noted that the season’s eight episodes are in keeping with the show’s usual format. As they noted, “It’s on episode 7 now and there is one more next week, so it will be 8 episodes, just like the last two seasons.” The first season was the exception to this, only lasting six episodes.

That said, other fans seemed to be in agreement with the sentiment. One fan even speculated that there would be more to come from the series. A few other comments read:
