‘Alaskan Bush People’ Rain & Ami Brown Worry Fans In Latest Live
Alaskan Bush People might have finished its original run in 2022, but that hasn’t kept fans from wanting to keep up to date with the Brown family. Many take to the family’s various social media accounts for regular updates about their lives. However, one recent live-stream has fans worried about Rain Brown and family matriarch Ami.
Rain Brown Had Fans Worried Thanks To A Recent Video
Viewers originally followed the Brown family on Alaska Bush People from 2014 to 2022. As they watched, the family tried to live off the grid around Hoonah, Alaska.
On the series. Rain, born Merry Christmas Kathryn Raindrop Brown, was the family’s youngest daughter and sibling. She also notably married Josiah Lorton back in December 2024.
As ScreenRant noted, for many, Rain was the most relatable of the Brown family. Being the youngest, she had spent less time living off the grid compared to the rest of her family. The publication also noted she seemed to have an easier time picking up on social cues.
However, on the show’s Reddit page, one fan grew concerned after watching a recent livestream from Rain. As one user opened up their post, “Anyone been watching Rain’s live?”
Some Fans Also Showed Concern For Ami Brown
As they wrote, “Says she is smoking green and her hubby says the same but looks like Rain her hubby and Ami (Rain’s mom) all live in a hotel. If u watch the lives they seem like they are doing more [than] 420.”
Many fans shared their concerns over Rain’s current situation, with similar concerns over Ami. As one fan wrote, “Hmmm, I wonder what they’re doing at hotel. I watched her last video, her response to Noah getting a restraining order against her, and she was said she was in a basement somewhere.”

Some debated if members of the family are using some sort of substance. Others attributed certain behaviors towards health issues. Many comments included:
- “All of y’all naming stimulants are way off. It’s definitely a downer or some sort probably in combo with some green. You can tell by the eyes and the speech. They both have that benzo/opiate face”
- “I saw that too. Someone asked him what’s with the slurring he said he had a stroke before and then they said does the stroke impact Rain too.”
- “Yeah, it’s not good. Her first reaction to Noah’s RO and claims made a lot of sense, but she’s clearly dabbling in something beyond weed based on that live. Def don’t think it’s meth, def DO think it’s xanax or some sort of benzodiazepine.”
