Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has become the subject of a documentary series following his arrest back in September of 2024. Multiple interviews from people in Diddy’s life will speak about the ongoing investigation and their own stories. Investigation Discovery has also released a sneak peek of the series on Instagram.

The Fall of Diddy Will Feature Over 30 Interviews

Combs’ legal issues first came to light this past September. At the time, the mogul was arrested on a variety of charges. Since then, various lawsuits have been made against him.

At this time, Diddy is currently awaiting trial at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. His legal team had sought to see him released on house arrest.

However, it is believed Diddy has given up on these attempts since a third bail proposal was rejected by a judge. Diddy’s upcoming trial is expected to take place this upcoming May. Notably, Combs had spent this past Thanksgiving and Christmas behind bars.

As noted by Newsweek, Investigation Discovery is set to release a documentary series based on the fallout since Combs’ arrest, The Fall of Diddy. The publication noted the series will feature over 30 interviews from people in Diddy’s life. This includes Combs’ childhood friend Tim Patterson and Natania Griffin, who had been shot in the face during a nightclub shooting for which Combs, among others, were on trial.

Investigation Discovery recently shared a sneak peek of the upcoming documentary series on Instagram. The post was notably also shared by the True Crime on Max Instagram page.

The Documentary Series Comes From The Producers Of Quiet On Set

As the caption read, “Pull back the curtain on music mogul Sean Combs, and the allegations of violence and abuse kept quiet for years. This chilling chronicle redefines the music mogul and business titan everyone thinks they know.”

As noted by the trailer, the documentary series comes from the producers of Quiet on Set. The aforementioned five-part documentary series came out in 2024 and took a look at toxic behind-the-scenes environments on various children’s shows.

An unseen voice opened up the 90-second trailer, saying, “I’ve been quiet for 18 years.” One man also appears, saying, “I can no long just remain silent.”

As noted by Billboard, Former VIBE editor-in-Chief Danyel Smith appears, adding, “This is where I’m supposed to be.” This was also intercut with footage of Diddy during his “glory days,” as noted by the publication.

The Fall of Diddy will premiere on January 27, 2025, at 9 PM. The series will have a two-night premiere, with a follow-up on January 28, 2025. Episodes will then be available for steaming on Max.
