‘Gold Rush’ Parker Schnabel Seen Helping Amid L.A. Wildfires
California has recently been plagued with destructive wildfires. During a recent news coverage of the destruction, a TV personality from Gold Rush made a surprising appearance: Parker Schnabel could be seen helping with the destruction. Fans also took to social media to share their surprise over the story.
Gold Rush Star Parker Schnabel Could Be Seen Holding A Hose While Inspecting Damages
Parker Schnabel originally appeared as a guest on the first season of Gold Rush. He went on to become a main cast member with the second season onwards. As seen in the series, he took over the Big Nugget mine from his grandfather, John Schnabel.
Schnabel recently made a surprising appearance in news story that has surfaced online, covering the destruction left by the recent Los Angeles wildfires. During the piece, a friend of Schnabel’s appeared to be interviewed.
“It’s unbelievable. These people are, you know here and these aren’t their houses. And they’re out here…I can’t even imagine what it was like with them out here.”
The friend then appeared to point attention towards Schnabel. He said, “This is my friend over here. Parker’s helping us.” Schnabel appeared to be wearing protective eyewear and holding a house while inspecting damages.
Over 2,000 Buildings Are Believed To Have Been Destroyed Or Damaged By The Recent Fires
The friend continued, “He’s sending a photo to my wife. This is my buddy. He’s out here and he’s willing to come out here and try to save the house. It’s still smoking and patching up…any of the little wood pieces are kind of hot.”
The story had been noted by the Gold Rush Reddit page, which shared a link to the video. Many fans were surprised to see Schnabel, with one user making the joke, “I thought I saw Parker in Hollywood once. Turned out it was Adam Driver.”
Another user thought it was Schnabel’s “doppelgänger at a minimum” until being shared the link. One user also identified the friend being interviewed as “Jamie Siminoff, the founder of Ring doorbell.” As they noted, “Parker was helping.” Other comments praised Schnabel for helping out.

As noted by Los Angeles Times, the recent wildfires are one of the most destructive in L.A. history. 2,000 buildings are believed to have either been damaged or destroyed. At least five people are also believed to have been killed by the fire.
