Josh Hall Slams HGTV, Cites ‘Manufactured Drama’
Former HGTV star Josh Hall is not at all pleased with the portrayal he’s receiving on the network these days. THGTV fired him from The Flip Off and proceeded to remove him from all promotional materials.
However, it seems that Josh will still receive some screen time, which was filmed prior to his explosive divorce from Christina Haack. HGTV released a new clip from the series premiere, revealing Josh Hall verbally berating his then-wife.
Now that the clip has gone viral, Josh Hall definitely has something to say.
Josh Hall Says HGTV Has “Changed” After Parting Ways With The Network
As the divorce drama ramped up, Josh Hall scrubbed his Instagram page of all signs of Christina Haack. He’s asked for privacy amid the split while she continuously puts him on blast.
In a recent post, Josh broke his silence.
“2024 was a tough year but it’s taught me a lot. It helped me grow and be stronger than I’ve ever been,” the former Christina in the Country star posted on Instagram. “Sometimes the tough situations can change you. You end up becoming a different person. A better version of yourself. You learn things about yourself you didn’t know before. It has opened my eyes to many things. Even though it was tough, I know that it taught me many lessons and for that I’m grateful. I always tell myself that God gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers.”
But he isn’t finished speaking out. He’s seen the viral clip from The Flip Off and he’s absolutely enraged with HGTV for painting him in a negative light.
“TFW you can’t get enough ratings with celebrity designers, so you rely on manufactured drama with me. @hgtv you’ve changed,” Josh Hall slammed the network in his Instagram stories, attaching a screenshot of a Fox News headline.
However, many have pointed out that HGTV had to address Josh Hall’s absence in some shape or form. He was heavily featured in the original marketing materials.
The Infamous Clip Features Wildly Unsavory Behavior
Josh Hall might not appreciate his portrayal in The Flip Off, but there’s little he can do to deny his behavior in the infamous clip. When Christina doesn’t respond in a way Josh finds satisfactory, he belittles her and aggressively says that she “pisses [him] off.”
