Josh Hall Speaks Out After ‘Tough Year’ & Chaotic Divorce
Former Christina in the Country star Josh Hall spent the better half of 2024 fighting with his ex-wife Christina Haack as they navigated their explosive divorce.
At the time, he was expected to star alongside her in a new series, The Flip Off. But as the divorce progressed, HGTV kicked Josh off the project and completely removed him from promotional materials. And as the premiere date approaches, the network released a telling clip of Josh verbally berating Christina.
But even so, Josh Hall feels determined to make 2025 his best year yet. Read on to see what he shared with his followers.
Josh Hall Wants To Keep Pushing Forward In 2025
Despite a very public divorce and the loss of his upcoming HGTV show, Josh Hall feels like nothing can stop him in the new year. He recently reflected on the trials and tribulations he encountered in 2024, vowing not to let them hold him back.
“2024 was a tough year but it’s taught me a lot. It helped me grow and be stronger than I’ve ever been,” Josh posted on Instagram. “Sometimes the tough situations can change you. You end up becoming a different person. A better version of yourself. You learn things about yourself you didn’t know before. It has opened my eyes to many things. Even though it was tough, I know that it taught me many lessons and for that I’m grateful. I always tell myself that God gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers.”
The former HGTV star went on to say he realized who his true friends were amid his personal challenges.
“Here’s to 2025, a new year, a fresh start, and a chance to write a new book with some new beginnings. This WILL be my best year yet…🙏🏼” he concluded.

Many of Josh’s Instagram followers rallied around him, writing:

However, he also received his share of criticisms.
“Rough year? While posting himself in an infinity pool overlooking beautiful scenery, while most people are working trying to provide,” another wrote. Others noted his poor behavior in HGTV’s latest preview of The Flip Off.
