Heather El Moussa Reacts To Josh Hall’s Outburst On ‘The Flip Off’

Tarek and Heather El Moussa might be Christina Haack’s rivals on The Flip Off. But nevertheless, they care very deeply for their co-start and hate seeing her mistreated.

Heather El Moussa Defends Co-star Christina Haack Online
Throughout 2024, HGTV has been preparing fans for The Flip Off by sharing hilarious videos of the stars butting heads and engaging in silly scenarios. Although they’re on rival teams, Tarek and Heather El Moussa absolutely support Christina Haack amid her divorce from Josh Hall.
In a new preview for The Flip Off, Josh and Christina Hall are riding in the car together.
“This is a competition. We gotta pull out all stops. Whatever it takes to win, I’ll do it. Halls rule!” Josh tells his wife while she rides in silence beside him. “You’re supposed to say it with me, or repeat it, or something that shows that you’re with me.”
But when Christina doesn’t reply, Josh starts to verbally berate her.
“Remember, you’re a Hall now. Don’t get confused in this competition about what your last name is,” he chastises her. “You’re rude.”
As the uncomfortable ride continues, Josh growls that his wife “pisses him off.”

As Christina’s co-parent, Heather El Moussa wasn’t at all impressed with the way Josh spoke to her.
“Not everyone makes the cut–and that’s the real reality,” Heather wrote in the comments, seeming to reference the choice to kick Josh off the show.
HGTV Fans Rally Around Christina Haack
In the comments, Instagram users defended Christina, noting how uncomfortable the clip made them feel. They wrote:
- “Wow. That was rough to watch. Abuse comes in many different varieties. That was 100% abusive behavior. Good for you Christina for getting out of an abusive relationship!”
- “I love that Tarek can still be there for her in some capacity. It shows that they can be there for each other even though they aren’t married. This is good for the kids.”

I am so glad Christina left Josh Hall, no one should have to take that abuse verbal or other wise. Josh wanted to get the credit and her money while putting her down and trying to dominate her. He is definitely a woman hater. It showed so much in the show that my own husband said to me ” I don’t like him, I don’t like how he talks to her so dominantly! What did she see in him?” We are glad Tarek and Heather support Christina even though they are business rivals. For now on Christina should focus on her family and children for more peace of mind.

Josh Hall certainly thinks because he may be nice looking, that he can talk to women however he wants to. He must not realize that this is the 21st century! Women are stronger and will NOT tolerate the chyt that spewd out of his nasty little mouth!! Buh-bye Josh Hall, you teeny-weeny little man!! You’re NOTHING!!
I’ll simply say, the first time that I’d seen him I knew he was trouble! Wait…that’s a capital TROUBLE!!!
I never liked him from the beginning!
When I would watch “Christina in the Country” he seemed so fake to me!
And the way he acted with her kids seemed very “put on” as well. Glad she finally got rid of him when he showed his true colors!
