‘The Flip Off’ Teaser Shows Josh Hall Berating Christina Haack
HGTV’s new home renovation show, The Flip Off, premieres at the end of the month. Already, fans know filming and production were hit with several hiccups along the way. Most notably, Josh and Christina Hall’s explosive divorce.
A previous clip from the show reveals Christina heavily leaned on her ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa, amid the chaotic break-up. But a new clip pulls the curtain back and shows some of the onscreen drama that led up to the split.

A New Clip From The Flip Off Reveals Josh Hall Yelling At Christina Haack
When HGTV first started promoting The Flip Off, it was a competition show between two couples: the Halls and the El Moussas. Filming already began when Josh and Christina Hall ended their marriage.
Weeks ahead of the season premiere, the network released a very telling clip revealing Josh’s true colors.
“This is a competition. We gotta pull out all stops. Whatever it takes to win, I’ll do it. Halls rule!” Josh cheers while glancing at Christina for a response. “You’re supposed to say it with me, or repeat it, or something that shows that you’re with me.”
But as Christina stays quiet, Josh starts to verbally attack her.
“Remember, you’re a Hall now. Don’t get confused in this competition about what your last name is,” Josh snaps at his wife. “You’re rude.”
“I don’t overtalk,” Christina finally responds, though her words aren’t at all confident.
“Yeah, the sh*t you say and I’m just like, ‘I wish you’d shut up already,’” Josh continues. “My wife’s pissing me off already.”
Christina simply sighs and asks if they’ve reached their destination.

Christina Haack Noted Her Ex Was Always Difficult To Work With
In a previous interview with Entertainment Tonight, Christina Haack confirmed she hated filming scenes with Josh Hall. After seeing this clip, it’s not at all hard to see why. She noted that he grew insecure around Tarek and Heather El Moussa and was difficult to work with.
“When someone is insecure by you and doesn’t like to watch you win, that really puts a damper on everything, I feel like I was not shining as bright, to try to not make him feel emasculated. But who wants to live like that?” Christina shared in the interview.
