My 600-Lb Life fans can’t wait — a new season premieres this week on TLC. There were only seven new episodes in Season 12, leaving viewers wanting more.

For the first time since April 2024, there will be more new My 600-Lb Life episodes for fans to enjoy. Dr. Now is getting older, leaving many wondering how much longer he will be involved with the show. Each new episode matters greatly to his fans.

There’s been quite a bit of speculation surrounding his retirement, but nothing confirmed yet.

“New season trailer [January 1st, 2025],” a Reddit user shared online, attaching a new teaser.

“The original phenomenon returns,” the voiceover in the trailer reveals. The 15-second clip featured snippets of episodes from the new season premiering tomorrow. Dr. Now will be back in action to treat patients struggling with their weight.

Right away, other Redditors expressed excitement over new episodes. However, some did note they wished TLC would stop using unflattering camera angles to film patients.

Dr. Younan Nowzaradan Has Two Shows Airing At Once

While long-time TLC viewers are excited to see new episodes of My 600-Lb Life, they also won’t have to look too far for more Dr. Now content. The famous bariatric surgeon also has a series premiering on Lifetime this week.

The 6000 lb. Diaries with Dr. Now kicks off at 9 PM Eastern time on Monday, January 6 on the Lifetime network. According to the network, they couldn’t be happier to welcome the surgeon to their team.

“Dr. Now has a proven ability to authentically engage with audiences by telling the extraordinary stories of his patients fighting to change their lives,” a Lifetime representative shared in an official statement. “We are delighted to welcome Dr. Now to Lifetime and know that our audience will connect with this inspiring series which reinforces our holistic commitment to first-rate unscripted programming.”
