‘Let’s Make A Deal’ Star Takes On Santa Role
Game shows, like many other shows, like to get into the holiday spirit. In fact, Let’s Make a Deal recently had a special surprise for viewers. One of the series’ stars played Santa Claus on the set, with some of her co-stars on the show joining in.
Santa Claus Made A Special Appearance On Let’s Make A Deal
Let’s Make a Deal revolves around members of the studio audience making deals with the series’ host. The series first premiered in 1963, with its current CBS incarnation coming out in 2009.
Wayne Brady is the current host of the series. However, there have been times when series model Tiffany Coyne occasionally takes on some of the show’s hosting duties.
As noted by Monsters & Critics, the game show recently had a segment where Coyne donned a beard and red suit to play Santa Claus. Wayne and series announcer Jonathan Mangum also appeared as children talking to Santa.
The segment was part of a game where a contestant tried to win a holiday-themed prize. As Santa, Coyne called over Mangum as “little Johnny Simpson.”
Tiffany Coyne Also Shared A Holiday-Themed Post On Social Media
While in character, Mangum joked, “Hi, Santa. My mom dropped me off at the mall four weeks ago.” Saying he’d get picked up after being a good boy, Santa Tiffany mused that might take a while. He then shared, “Damn! That’s what I like,” before explaining he liked “dams,” especially people building them.
Coyne told “Johnny” that an envelope contained what he wanted. Santa Tiffany then called over “little baby Wayne.” The host confirmed he had been a good boy, noting he helped an old lady cross the street.

Santa Tiffany shared that what Wayne wanted was also in an envelope. This caused the host to quip, “That’s awesome how you know what every little boy and girl in the world wants.” Santa Tiffany replied, “I know, I’m awesome.”
A clip of the segment was also uploaded to the show’s official Instagram page. As the caption noted, “Looks like our Santa Claus is looking a little blonder today.”
Taking to Instagram herself, Coyne also shared a carousel post with her in her Santa Claus costume. The final slide contained a video that showcased the audience in holiday costumes.

As the publication noted, on social media, fans shared their thoughts on the segment. As one fan wrote, “I know [Brady and Mangum] like acting with Tiffany.” Another teased that Coyne “has spent too much time around these 2.”
