Jenelle Evans Confirms MTV Taking Break From Filming With Her
Jenelle Evans has confirmed MTV is taking a break from filming Teen Mom with her for the foreseeable future. Fans noticed she was not in the promo for the new season but were unsure if she was officially done. Now, she has come out and shared she is done for now. Keep reading for further details.
Jenelle Evans Confirms Break From MTV
Fans will remember that Jenelle Evans was first featured on 16 & Pregnant. She was expecting a son with her boyfriend, Andrew Lewis but there were a lot of issues. The biggest problem was Jenelle liked the idea of having a son, and she welcomed a baby boy named Jace. However, she was still in party mode so being a mom was a hard concept for her to grasp. She turned over custody to her mother, Barbara, and lived her best life. Jenelle had another son, Kaiser, with Nathan Griffith and a daughter, Ensley with David Eason.
All of this was documented on the spinoff, Teen Mom 2. She ended up marrying David but, in 2019, he shot and killed their dog, Nugget. That caused the couple to get fired from the series and the network as a whole. She stayed with him and started a YouTube channel as well as TikTok. Jenelle also joined OnlyFans and regained custody of Jace in early 2023. She left David in early 2024 and was soon hired back by MTV which fans were thrilled by. Unfortunately, she had a lot of issues and problems so it appeared Jenelle had been let go again.
Now, she has taken to TikTok live to share she will not be in the upcoming season of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter. This was shared on @tm_chatter. She claimed that MTV decided not to use her for this season but she would make another video about that. Jenelle added that she was waiting to get permission to do what she wanted and now she has that. She also talked about her marijuana business which was hyped on the show but has never come to fruition.
Are Fans Bummed?
Again, Teen Mom fans had heard Jenelle Evans was allegedly let go once again. Therefore, this was not that much of a surprise. Yet, were they bummed about her not being featured this season?
- Good. Don’t need to see her. She needs to focus on Jace and keeping him safe and at home

Though it was clear no one would miss her, they did add they would rather lose Amber Portwood instead:
- They need to not use AMBER !! That’s who they should move away from!! Smh
- Instead of removing her MTV should get of of Amber, especially after her latest BS.
