‘DWTS’ Julianne Hough’s Surprise Response To Ex-Husband Engagement
DWTS co-host, Julianne Hough had a shocking response to her ex-husband, Brooks Laich’s recent engagement. The two split in 2020 after three years of marriage but there never appeared to be any bad blood between the exes. Now, he has found a new love and has chosen to spend forever with her. Julianne Hough’s Surprise Response To Ex’s Engagement
DWTS co-host and former pro dancer, Julianne Hough has an interesting dating history. She was with country singer, Chuck Wicks for a year after they met while competing on the show. They were teamed up together for Season 8 and came in sixth place though she has won two seasons. Following her romance with Wicks, Julianne moved on to Ryan Seacrest. The duo were involved for three years but parted ways and then she began dating professional hockey player, Brooks Laich. They became engaged in 2015 and tied the knot two years later.
Unfortunately, after three years, the two chose to go their separate ways. Julianne also revealed she was not exactly straight and was exploring who she was. Though she and Brooks did try to work their marriage out, their divorce was finalized in 2022. He met Katrín Tanja Davíðsdóttir, a champion CrossFit athlete, in 2021. They shared that they were official and on Friday, December 27th, Brooks announced their engagement on Instagram.

Per the post, the actual proposal occurred on Monday, December 16th. The newly engaged couple shared a handful of loving slides where Katrín is staring up at Brooks adoringly. She looks over the moon to be with him as he donned a cowboy hat and gray sweater. So, what was his ex-wife, Julianne Hough’s reaction? She was thrilled they had found their happily ever after and posted a sweet comment:
- Congratulations 💍 I’m so happy for you both as you step into this beautiful new chapter together. Wishing you both a lifetime of love, laughter, and endless adventures! ❤️✨
He responded with:
