Kim Kardashian Pays Six Figures For Christmas Tradition
Kim Kardashian isn’t going to back down when it comes to holiday traditions. Now, a source is opening up more on the family’s traditions and apparently, Kim pays a lot of money to have a pianist wake her kids up in the morning. Keep reading for all of the details.
Kim Kardashian’s Lavish Christmas Mornings
Back when Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were still together, Kanye convinced Kim to have Philip Cornish, a famous pianist, come and wake the kids up for the whole month of December The Sun reports. While initially Kim was resistant to the idea, she has since adopted it as her own.
“Kanye and Philip have been good friends and collaborators for years. It was all Kanye’s idea to bring him into the house,” the source shares. “He thought it was a peaceful, creative way to add some magic into the kids’ holiday routine and he insisted on it. Despite Kim originally not fully being on board, she felt it was unnecessary at first.
Of course, Kim is doing everything she can to keep life normal for her four children, even if this means keeping the pianist around.
“But even since their divorce Kim has continued the tradition on her own because the kids love it so much and Kim has grown to love it too,” the source said.
While the source reveals that the pianist would play for free all month, Kim doesn’t let that fly. Instead, she pays over six figures to have this man in her home every morning.
“Philip would do it for free and even tells Kim that but he does get paid. Rather than per day, it’s a lump sum – which at this point is now well into the six figures.
It’s Not All Money
Philip doesn’t only get paid in Kardashian money for his job, but he also gets the ‘full VIP’ treatment from the family. This includes Christmas gifts and food. Clearly, Kim really loves to have him around.
“He will also get holiday gifts and food from the family’s chef, which is the full VIP Kardashian treatment,” the source shares.
Overall, it seems like this is a pretty great relationship for not only the kids but the pianist as well. Hopefully, this is a gig he can keep for a very long time!
