Fans have always known the TLC star with curly blonde hair. On occasion, she straightens it for the camera. But while her sister Amy opts for frequent hair dyeing, Amanda seems content with her usual blonde look.

Amanda Halterman Underwent Many Changes Over The Past Year
During this season of 1000-Lb Sisters, Amanda Halterman had several difficult decisions to make. She struggled with her relationship with Tammy Slaton, which ultimately ended in Tammy moving out of Amanda’s rental partner. On top of that, Amanda decided she wanted to leave Kentucky, opting to move in with her boyfriend in Florida.
Ultimately, the Florida situation didn’t work out and Amanda revealed she returned to Kentucky. It wasn’t an easy decision, but she had roots in Kentucky and wanted to be somewhere familiar while she figured out her next steps.
But what if her next big decision involved a brand-new look?
The TLC star typically doesn’t change her look very often. However, she did wear a pair of glasses during an Instagram live, prompting fans to deem her a “sexy librarian.”
But a new Instagram video left fans wondering what she would look like with darker hair.
A Halloween Costume Served As The Inspiration For The Idea
1000-Lb Sisters fans know the family loves celebrating Halloween. And it was one of Amanda Halterman’s fun costume ideas that gave fans the idea that she’d look amazing with dark hair.
“Halloween several years ago. A time was had #1000lbsisters,” Amanda captioned an Instagram post. She attached a slideshow of photos and short videos from a family Halloween party. Amanda went dressed as Morticia Addams with Misty as Wednesday.
To complete the Morticia look, Amanda wore a long black wig. Fans went wild for the costume, noting that she should seriously consider dyeing her hair black for real.

Although it was just a Halloween costume, Amanda’s Instagram followers thought dark hair really suited her. Comments included:
