‘Jeopardy!’ Will Air On A New Network Starting In 2025
Jeopardy! has a new home for 2025. The popular game show has aired in daily syndication since 1984 after getting its start on NBC. Thanks to syndication, the game show airs on different networks depending on where a person lives, with NBC still its home in many locations. However, in 2025, the show will have a new secondary home.
Here is where Jeopardy! is aring in 2025.
Jeopardy! Moving To New Network In 2025
Jeopardy! will remain syndicated in 2025, but it will find a new secondary home in the new year. In the new year, it will return to the Game Show Network (GSN) for reruns of the 39 episodes of Season 39, which include Cris Pannullo and Ray LaLonde’s super champion runs.
GSN announced the move on December 23 on social media. “The newest addition to the Game Show Network line up? What is… @jeopardy! Jeopardy! with Ken Jennings starting Monday January 13 at 9p on Game Show Network!”
While this is a new home for Jeopardy!, it has been there before. It aired on GSN way back in 2013 when it aired reruns of Season 25. It also aired some tribute episodes in 2020 after Alex Trebek’s death. This is huge news since it was recently removed from Pluto TV.
On GSN, there will be two episodes per day, starting every weekday at 9 p.m. EST. This replaces Wheel of Fortune reruns, which aired at the same time. That game show will move to 2 p.m. EST. The social media post only mentions Ken Jennings. Mayim Bialik was also a host in Season 39. It is unclear if her episodes will air.
What Will Happen To Jeopardy! Regular Episodes?
There will be no change to regular Jeopardy! episodes, which will continue to air in syndication in various markets. This also won’t affect the upcoming tournaments. In January, the new tournaments start in syndication, including editions of Second Chance, Champion’s Wildcard, the Jeopardy! Invitational Tournament, and the Tournament of Champions.

This upcoming Tournament of Champions was a tough one to fill the roster on. There were not enough people to automatically qualify (five wins), and they had to drop to four-game winners and then three-game winners. This means they went to the first runner-up in the upcoming Champions Wildcard to fill in the last spot.
Pop Culture Jeopardy! will continue to air on Prime Video. However, there is still a home needed for the classic Alex Trebek episodes. With the show leaving Pluto TV (along with Wheel of Fortune), a new home is needed for the classic seasons. Ken Jennings has said the new home should be revealed in early 2025. Hulu and Prime Video are the most likely choices.
