Jay-Z Distancing Himself From Diddy Amid Ongoing Scandal
There may have been a time when Jay-Z and Sean “Diddy” Combs were thick as thieves. However, based on the latest updates making the rounds, Jay-Z appears to be doing everything he can to put as much distance between himself and the disgraced rapper and business mogul as possible, particularly in light of ongoing scandal. So, what’s the latest on this situation?
Jay-Z And Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Linked In R*pe Allegations
With everything that has come to light surrounding Diddy in the last couple of months, everything from his infamous parties to alleged s*x trafficking and more has come to the surface. While Diddy is currently in a Brooklyn detention center awaiting trial in 2025, a lot of what has come about since the opening of these cans of worms has also impacted a lot of other famous people close to Diddy.
One recent example of this is Jay-Z. Recently, he was linked with Diddy in an alleged lawsuit claiming that Diddy and Jay-Z were involved in a “se*ual attack” on a 13-year-old after the MTV VMAs in 2000. This link with Diddy was bad enough that Jay-Z’s lucrative partnership with the NFL has been in jeopardy as well.
Jay-Z Actively Distancing Himself From Diddy
Based on the latest tea making the rounds, it seems Jay-Z is doing everything he can to put as much distance between himself and Diddy as possible. A recent insider dished to RadarOnline about everything the “99 Problems” hitmaker has been doing to put walls between himself and Diddy since everything went down.
According to the insider, they said: “Jay-Z would absolutely throw Diddy under the bus if that is what it took to clear his name and walk away from this. He has zero loyalty to Diddy. The moment Diddy was arrested, Jay-Z scrubbed him from his existence. He is going after [lawyer Tony] Buzbee for himself and not for anyone else.”
The insider continued, adding: “The only thing that he cares about is him never stepping foot inside a jail cell and his family being safe. Jay-Z is extremely powerful and will deploy any tactic necessary.”
Diddy Spending Christmas Behind Bars
As for Diddy, the rapper and business mogul is spending Christmas behind bars. His trial is not until 2025, and he was denied bail several times, as he was deemed a flight risk, and someone who could easily use his power and connections to potentially taint a jury pool.
While Jay and Diddy may have been close at one point in their lives, that does not seem to be the case any longer, as Jay is clearly doing everything he can to put as much distance between himself and Diddy as possible.
