‘1000-Lb Best Friends’ Fans Slam Scott Bagwill For Disrespect Toward Mom
1000-Lb Best Friends star Scott Bagwill is already one of the most controversial cast members of the franchise, despite debuting in the latest season. Many viewers are upset with how he constantly fought with the group. He has also shown disrespectful behavior, especially toward his mother. But, some Redditors think Scott might be even worse in front of his mom. Keep reading to see why.
1000-Lb Best Friends: Scott Bagwill Fights With The Group
Scott has had many arguments with the group throughout the season. One of them was when he threw tantrums at Tina for saying that the meatballs they made didn’t taste good. According to Scott, Tina was being disrespectful, but she defended herself by telling Scott that he just didn’t have taste. This led to their heated exchange, leading Scott to storm off the set. The latest episode of 1000-Lb Best Friends also featured another angry moment from Scott.
The group was having dinner at a restaurant, and Scott was getting hungry. Due to this, he asked for a plate of fried chicken, but Vannessa stopped him because he was not allowed to eat fried foods. Scott then walked out yet again, telling the group that he needed some fresh air.
Scott Wants To Hurt His Mom?
Some 1000-Lb Best Friends fans on Reddit discussed Scott Bagwill’s attitude toward his mother. According to the poster, most viewers have seen how dysfunctional Scott and his mother are. However, they were disturbed when Scott told his mother that she gets to “pull the plug” if something happens during his surgery.
The OP added that it should be his decision to make. It also made them think that Scott was trying to put the burden on his mother if things went badly. Furthermore, the OP said that Scott doesn’t only want to verbally disrespect his mom, but it seems he also wants to hurt her physically.
- “This is one instance where I don’t think the parent is nearly as bad an enabler as most other parents. He will binge on diet food (string cheese is what I eat for a snack when I’m losing weight).”
- “He’s talked about how his mom isn’t very vocal with love. When I saw the “plug” scene, I saw a child wanting an emotional reaction out of the mother to express Care or Worry. He wanted to feel loved, like she didn’t want to lose him. He acts out like that bc he wants words of affirmation from his mom, and he never receives it. Major mommy issues.”
- “I agree his mom is not an enabler like a lot of spouses or moms or significant others on weight loss shows, but Scott has to learn that he lives a junk food world and mom should not have to plan her life around a grown adult that needs to learn portion control and not to give into temptations.”
1000-Lb Best Friends: Scott Bagwill Turned His Life Around?
Despite all the doubts, Scott Bagwill continues to shock fans after sharing new photos and clips of his transformation. The 1000-Lb Best Friends star appears to have dropped half his weight after surgery. He also thanked everyone who helped him lose weight, especially Dr. Procter and his workout instructor.
