‘Duck Dynasty’ Huge Health Update For Miss Kay & Phil Robertson
Fans of Duck Dynasty have recently been receiving updates from the Robertson family concerning family patriarch Phil Robertson. Notably, Phil’s family had shared that he had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s on a family podcast. Fans also recently grew concerned over Phil’s wife, Miss Kay. However, fans were recently given an update just ahead of the holidays.
The Family Recently Got Together For Miss Kay’s Birthday
Viewers got to know the Robertson family through Duck Dynasty. The original series lasted from 2012 to 2017.
However, even years after the show’s cancelation, the series still has a devoted fanbase. Fans have also been regularly updated by members of the Robertson family through social media, as well as the “Unashamed with Phil & Jase Robertson” podcast.
As previously reported, Jase Robertson previously shared the news of his father’s recent Alzheimer’s diagnosis on the podcast. Since then, the family has shared updates about Phil’s health.
In a recent Instagram post, Jase’s wife, Missy, shared a post featuring the family getting together to celebrate Miss Kay’s birthday. The Duck Dynasty matriarch was turning 77 this December 21.
In the post, Missy gave another update concerning both Phil and Miss Kay. As she shared, “A very MERRY day! Phil and Kay are both doing so much better and were able to enjoy their family today, and we so enjoyed them.”
“Presents just weren’t a priority this year, and I think we all just ended up focusing on each other (and Miss Kay’s birthday gag gifts.) Visiting, snuggling with babies, eating amazing food, listening to Uncle [Si Robertson] stories and laughing made today very, very MERRY indeed!”
Fans Were Recently Worried About Miss Kay Robertson
Missy finished the post, writing, “I do not take these special moments for granted. Thank you Jesus for your amazing gift of sacrifice for us!”
The post featured a carousel of family photos, including Miss Kay receiving her birthday cake. Notably, the house appeared to be covered in Christmas decorations, with Miss Kay’s birthday falling right ahead of the holiday season.

The update about Miss Kay is also notable as fans recently were concerned about her. As previously reported, Willie Robertson appeared in a video with Tucker Carlson talking about a reboot of the original series.
While there, Willie mentioned fans who talked to him about how much the show meant to his family. When Willie brought up a fan who recently lost their mother, fans took this out of context to think he was talking about Miss Kay.
