Tristan Thompson Finally Pays Oldest Son Child Support
Tristan Thompson is known for having two children with Khloe Kardashian, however, in addition to Tatum and True he also has two other sons. One of which is 8 years old. After not paying child support, it looks like Tristan Thompson is finally caring for his oldest child. Keep reading to learn more about what we know so far.
Tristan Thompson Finally Pays Up
Tristan Thompson is finally squaring up when it comes to his oldest son, Prince. According to The Sun, the NBA player was behind $224,000 in child support payments to the little boy. Tristan shares Prince with his ex, Jordan Craig.
Apparently, the missed payments go all the way back to 2022 when Tristan began defaulting on agreed upon payments. The star was supposed to pay $80,000 based on his $2.7 million per year salary with the Cavaliers.
“It is my belief that Tristan signed a ‘veteran’s minimum’ contract with the Cavaliers that pays him $2.7 million per year,” Jordan said in her filings.
“The $80,000 request is certainly less than half of his monthly salary.”
However, Tristan was only paying $40,000 a month. This left him with a balance of $224,000. However, the star has finally squared up and paid what is owed to his son.

Just In Time To Get A New Loan?
All of these payments come at an interesting time as it is reported that Tristan also just took out a loan for for his $12.5 million home. Apparently, the loan is for $1 million and is just down the road from Khloe Kardashian. Of course, Khloe keeps True and Tatum at her house so it makes sense that Tristan would live right down the road. However, still begs the question – why doesn’t he live near Prince or his three-year-old son, Theo.
Of course, his son Theo was quite the scandal as his birth announcement came as Khloe and Tristan were expecting their surrogate to give birth to their new baby, Tatum. That would be the second time Tristan was caught cheating when expecting a baby with Khloe so it’s no surprise Khloe hasn’t gotten back with Tristan yet. However, there are rumors that Khloe is still holding out for her baby daddy.
Apparently, Tristan doesn’t have communication with Theo or Theo’s mom, but the star himself has not confirmed this fact.
At least, for now, Prince is getting the money he deserves from his dad.
