‘Beyond The Gates’ CBS Drops First Official Teaser, See Clip
CBS has recently released the trailer for its latest daytime drama, Beyond The Gates. The series, which is coming out as The Talk is coming to an end, The series, a joint venture between CBS Studios and NAACP, will revolve around a prominent African American family. It is also one of the first new daytime soaps to come out on a broadcast network in decades.
The New Teaser Welcomes Viewers To Fairmont Crest
Beyond The Gates, which is expected to debut in February 2025, revolves around the multi-generational Dupree family. The upcoming daytime drama is already notable for a variety of reasons.
The series is notably the first daytime soap opera to revolve around an African-American family since 1989’s Generations. It’s also the first daytime soap to premiere on a main broadcast network since 1999’s Passions.
The series also received attention as it would join the CBS schedule as The Talk is coming to an end. CBS also recently released the series’ first teaser.
As noted by Soap Opera Digest, a statement for the series reads: “The teaser introduces the Duprees – a prominent Black family who hold court over their affluent community in Maryland from Fairmont Crest.” As it continued, “The country club at the center of their luxurious enclave filled with wealthy residents [harbors] deep secrets.”
The promo starts up with a black Mercedes driving up to a gated community. A gate opens and a table is seen with a sign reading, “Reserved for the Duprees.”
Beyond The Gates Also Released A Video On Instagram
A woman comments, “Here we are.” A man responds, “A new dawn.” Another figure shares, “Welcome to Fairmont Crest.” A voice also comments, “This is going to make history.”
The character Dani Dupree, played by actress Karla Mosley. quickly makes an impression in one scene. At one point, she uses a golf club to knock everything off a desk, before slamming it down. This is done right in front of another shocked character.
For its part, CBS also seems excited to be sharing another soap with fans. As a tagline seen in the clip reads, “CBS Daytime is about to get soapier.”
In addition to the regular teaser, the upcoming series’ Instagram page also shared a short teaser. This video featured inserts of the series’ actors, assuring prospective viewers that things are about to get “messy.” As the post shared, “Beyond The Gates lies the unknown… and it’s about to unravel.”

Beyond The Gates is set to premiere on February 24, 2025. The series will also be available for streaming on Paramount+.
