‘1000-Lb Sisters’ Where Is Amanda Halterman Living As Of 2024?
On this season of 1000-Lb Sisters, Amanda Halterman announced to her siblings that she planned to move to Florida. She met a man online and wants to move down there to be with him and remove herself from the chaotic environment in Kentucky.
Naturally, her siblings pushed back on the idea, especially Chris Combs. They weren’t excited about the idea of the family splitting up. But even so, Amanda remained firm in her decision.
However, fans already know that things didn’t work out with Amanda and RJ, the man from Florida. So what happened next? Did Amanda stay in Florida or return to Kentucky?

Amanda Halterman Has Had A Rough Year
As fans have seen onscreen, Amanda Halterman and Tammy Slaton just can’t seem to see eye to eye. And in Tuesday’s episode, it seems like Amanda and Amy will come to blows too. It’s not difficult for viewers to see why Amanda might want to move away from everyone.
Right now, her storyline centers around moving to Florida to be with RJ. In a three-minute TikTok, Amanda explains that he ghosted her and she can’t get back in touch with him. His family members reportedly won’t speak with her either.
So why stay in Florida?
The TLC Star Embarks On A New Adventure
It’s not immediately clear where the TLC star lives. Some fans think she moved back to Kentucky to be with Amy, but other evidence supports that she’s still in Florida at the moment. Either way, she’s been traveling over the past week.
“So thankful for signs from God letting me know to keep pushing,” Amanda shared on Instagram, capturing her adventures as of late.

In another recent Instagram post, it’s clear she visited Amy Halterman’s home in Kentucky. She shared a video of Amy’s sons playing on the floor together, prompting some fans to wonder if Amanda had custody of the boys.

However, Amanda denied that she had custody of Amy’s sons and informed fans she was simply passing through Kentucky. If she hasn’t permanently moved back to Kentucky, it’s likely she’s just visiting for the December holidays.
