‘DWTS’ Ilona Maher & Alan Bersten Reunite In Sweet TikTok
Dancing With The Stars may be over for the year, but runners-up Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten still keep in touch.
Many dance partners go their separate ways once the competition ends, but Ilona and Alan formed a lifelong friendship that fans are confident will stand the test of time.

Ilona Maher & Alan Bersten Are Back Together Amid Their Busy Schedules
After coming in second place on DWTS Season 33, Alan Bersten and Ilona Maher took a brief break from their busy schedules to celebrate Thanksgiving with their families. But now, they’re back to business as usual.
As Alan prepares to go on tour with the rest of the pro dancers, Ilona has relocated to England to play professional rugby. They don’t get to see each other as often as they would like, but they did have a chance to reunite.
Naturally, they had to create a TikTok to commemorate their grand reunion.
“First time we’ve seen each other in two weeks,” Ilona captioned a recent video.
“Is this seat taken?” the Olympian asks Alan Bersten as he sits faced away from her.
“I’m holding space for my old dance partner,” the dancer replies, still facing away from her.
“She sounds amazing,” Ilona tells him.
“She was,” Alan recalls. “Her voice was this annoying voice.”
He then turns around and the friends scream in excitement before sharing a big hug.

DWTS Fans Go Wild After Seeing The Runners-Up Reunite
Fans loved the sweet TikTok and felt excited to see Alan and Ilona back together. Throughout their time on DWTS, the pair consistently created hilarious TikTok content. Since Season 33 wrapped up, fans have sorely missed their videos. They left comments including:
- “IT’S ONLY BEEN 2 WEEKS??? IT’S FELT LIKE YEARS😭”

- “Not me screaming and jumping up and down after realizing this isn’t an old clip 😭💛”

Now that Ilona has moved to England, she and Alan probably won’t get to spend as much time together. However, he remains one of her biggest supporters. Without a doubt, fans can expect to see him at one of Ilona’s future rugby games.
