Christina Haack Leans On Ex, Tarek, As Marriage To Josh Crumbles
Christina Haack and Tarek El Moussa might be exes, but they’re on amicable terms as they co-parent and film an HGTV show together. Online, fans have praised the two for setting a good example and putting their children first. Their marriage didn’t work out, but they have a strong sense of respect for one another.
Fans already know that Christina and her third husband, Josh Hall, underwent an extremely messy divorce while filming their new show, The Flip Off. When promos for the show first debuted in May 2024, Christina and Josh seemed like a happy couple. Clearly, there were problems bubbling behind the scenes.
Now, fans will get a chance to see Christina Haack explore her feelings in a new teaser for The Flip Off. See what happened and how Tarek El Moussa stepped in to lend a hand.
Tarek El Moussa Comforts Christina Haack In New Teaser For The Flip Off
The Flip Off will premiere on HGTV in January, so the network decided to share a clip with fans. The production team knew they had to address Josh Hall’s exit, since it completely derailed the show’s initial concept.
In the teaser, Tarek El Moussa goes to visit Christina Haack, who is visibly distressed.
“You good?” Tarek asks.
“No… Josh and I officially split up,” Christina replies, clearly in a fragile emotional state.
“We had a blow up… middle fingers in my face,” the designer told her first husband. “Things with Josh have been bad for a long time.”
Elaborating, Christina admitted that their children, Taylor and Brayden El Moussa, asked her to leave Josh.
“They told me he’s not nice to me. Why would I stick around?” she told Tarek.
The Flip Off Stars Own Up To Their Personal Faults
These mounting issues have been weighing on Christina for quite some time.
“I feel like I’m in a tornado all the time and I just can’t get out of it,” the HGTV star notes before bursting into tears. “Everything since like 2016 has been so hard and so horrible. It’s really taken a really bad toll on me.”
The year 2016 marked the end of Tarek and Christina’s marriage. She went on to marry Ant Anstead, who she divorced in 2021 after three years of marriage. She then married Josh Hall, whom she divorced this summer.
“I’m really sorry for s— too. … I just want you to know,” Christina told her first husband, reflecting on their own issues.
“I understand that feeling of being a little bit lost. And I acknowledge that I’m a big part, if not the entire part, of all of this,” Tarek added.
