Taylor Swift Gives Out Over $100 Million In Bonuses During Tour
It is easy to say that Taylor Swift put on one of the most successful, if not the most successful, tours of all time. The amount of people who sang, danced, and cried during her concerts is unmatched. However, Taylor has not been selfish about this whatsoever. It has been revealed that she gave out over $100 million in bonuses during the duration of her tour.
Taylor Swift Ends An Era
Taylor Swift is a successful woman. She just ended one of the biggest stadium tours of all time. The Eras Tour brought so many people together and made them feel seen the entire time. However, she recently ended the tour on December 8. The final night was in Vancouver Canada. Fans thought she was going to announce something big. However, this was not the case. Now Taylor needs to take some much-needed time off to rest and spend time with the people she loves. Fans are ecstatic to see what she has in store next.
She Gives Out Over $100 Million In Bonuses
It has been revealed that Taylor Swift gave out $197 million in bonuses during the duration of her tour. She provided bonuses to her crew such as truck drivers, dancers, wardrobe, choreographers, band, hair, makeup, and so many more people who helped make her vision come to life. Fans feel that this only shows how selfless Swift is. During the duration of the tour, she made over $2 billion in ticket sales. This does not count her merch sales. So, she gave almost 10% of that back to her crew. On the last night, she thanked her crew one last time.
“We have toured the entire world with this tour, we have had so many adventures. It has been the most exciting, powerful, electrifying, intense, most challenging thing I’ve ever done in my entire life. We’ve got to perform for over 10 million people, and tonight we get to play one last show for you here tonight.”
It seems that Taylor was not selfish with her money whatsoever. She gave money in bonuses to everyone who made the tour come to life. This is on top of the salary that they already received. However, Taylor has also made it clear that the show could not have gone on without the help of all of her crew. Fans are devastated to see the tour come to an end.
