Mama June Opens Up About Granddaughter, Kylee Getting Taken Away
Mama June Shannon has opened up about her granddaughter getting taken away from her. This has been a hard thing for her to have to accept. Especially after her daughter, Anna Cardwell, passed away. Mama June Fights For Custody
Mama June Shannon had a hard time after her daughter, Anna Cardwell passed away. However, she does have custody of one of her granddaughters, Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn is Anna’s daughter from a previous relationship. However, after that relationship, she married Michael Cardwell. Then, they had a daughter. When Anna passed, June went into a custody battle over Kaitlyn. This is because Michael was not Kaitlyn’s biological father. However, she did not ask for custody of Kylee since Michael was her legal guardian and father. Fans were confused as to why June did not try to get both of her granddaughters. However, she more than likely had a bigger reason behind it. Maybe she will in the future.
She Opens Up About Granddaughter Getting Taken Away
Mama June Shannon has revealed that Michael moved to Alabama and took Kylee with him. She has opened up about getting her granddaughter taken away.
“We had to go through a custody battle that we won. We had to also deal with Michael taking Kylee away from everybody here and moving to Alabama. He moved to Alabama the first November. Well, the girls will never see each other if y’all move away. Boom. The court case ends, he gets remarried and they move back to Sylacauga, Alabama. He was with Anna for two years. Once they got married, he moved to Sylacauga, Alabama. He was going to open up a mechanic shop and they were going to build a house on some land over there. Now with London, they were together two and a half years. They got married. A month after they got married, they moved to Alabama. They’re supposed to be opening up this diesel shop and supposedly building a house across the road from his father. And it’s like damn, you could have changed the story up just a little bit,”
Fans feel bad for Mama June and her family since they are having to go through missing Kylee on top of Anna.
It seems that even though she has custody of Kaitlyn, she would love to see Kylee as well. Michael taking Kylee to Alabama was hard. Not only on June but the whole family. Kaitlyn has had to be away from her half-sister. This is hard for her while they are both going through the loss of their mother. I’m disgusted that the court would trust june around a child, after how she abandoned her own kids in favor of drugs. He was right to take HIS daughter as far away from that disaster of a family as possible. The court should’ve awarded him custody of both girls.

well yes I think it was horrible that she abandoned her own daughter absolutely for drugs but she is clean now she has been clean for a long time and I feel she is doing the right thing that’s not even the child’s father she doesn’t want to be with him and he should have never taken that little girl far away from her family especially sister that’s so sad to rip them apart like that I mean talk about petty and immature I mean we are all adults here and usually as parents sometimes we have to suck it up and do things for our children which in this case he should have done the right thing and made sure that those sisters were able to see each other at all times and spend time together and grow up together what he did is horrible and I would never wish upon any child
as bad as it is for the girls, he has to go on in life and if this move is going to better his life and he can better provide for his family then he is doing what’s best. maybe June should have been more adult like and let him have both girls with some visitation put in place. the cow didn’t raise her own kids very well and probably isn’t going to be the best choice to raise this one. she is nothing but DRAMA 24/7
