Steve Harvey Gets Schooled Over Poor Manners With Wife

Steve Harvey’s fans are familiar with the tributes he gives to his wife on social media. However, fans have some questions for the Family Feud host thanks to a recent video. That said, other fans came to the star’s defense.

Steve Harvey & His Wife Marjorie Have Been Married Since 2007

Harvey started his career with stand-up comedy, eventually starring in his own sitcom, The Steve Harvey Show. However, for many fans, he has since become best known as the host of Family Feud.

When it comes to his personal life, Harvey has been married three times. In 2007, he married his wife, Marjorie. Together, they are the founders of The Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation.

Recently, for example, the host took to Facebook to share a photo of Marjorie posed on a staircase while wearing a red, holiday-themed gown. At the time, many fans commented on how “blessed” Steve must be to have Marjorie in his life.

However, fans weren’t as happy with another post Steve shared. In a video, the husband and wife were seen visiting the United Arab Emirates to attend a variety of sporting events, just ahead of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

This included Steve Harvey’s third annual Melt Golf Classic. In the video, Steve was seen holding his wife’s hands as they walked together.

Fans Shared Some Mixed Opinions Over The Video

However, one issue fans had with the outing was that, during their walk, Steve walked closer to a wall while his wife was at his side. Some felt it would have been safer for him to have walked closer to the outside.

One user tried to explain the etiquette of the situation more in detail: “First of all, Marjorie should be on the inside of the street.”

“The proper thing is for the man to walk on the outside. A lot of men are not versed on proper etiquette, so the woman can switch position quickly without notice if she is aware.”

Other fans took the comment section to voice their opinions. One wrote, “Steve always talking about man training, but why is his wife walking on the outside side.” Another wrote, “Walking on the wrong side of his wife. Men our age know better, as should he!”

That said, as noted by Parade, some fans came to Steve’s defense. As one fan pointed out, bodyguards could already be seen near the pair, suggesting safety wasn’t an issue for the couple. As they wrote, “He has security with them, that may be why he isn’t walking on the outside.”

Another suggested Marjorie might have preferred being the one walking closer to the outside. As they put it, “She walks on that side so she can be seen.”
