Has Sarah Drew’s Hallmark+ Series Mistletoe Murders Been Renewed For Season 2?

On Thursday, Hallmark+ dropped the final episode of Mistletoe Murders Season 1. This episode was entitled “Death Of A Humbug: Part 2.” As with the first five episodes, this episode was between 42-45 minutes of mystery, intrigue, and some fantastic storytelling. The final two scenes left viewers wanting more.

Those Hallmark viewers who wanted to see Sam and Emily finally get together got their wish. They had a very romantic scene complete with some passionate kissing. Then, she went upstairs to her place to get out of her Christmas PJs and reindeer slippers so they could go out for a walk in the snow. Meanwhile, Sam got a phone call.

However, when Emily returned, the mood was broken. Sam demanded to know, “Who are you?” Doing his due diligence, Sam had Emily investigated. But, he was given a dead end. He knew she was hiding a big secret. But, she could not tell him.

Now, Sleuthers want to know who Emily is. Moreover, will Emily and Sam find a way back to each other? There is only one way to find out. Will Hallmark renew Mistletoe Murders for Season 2?

Right now, it is something that fans and Sarah Drew all want to happen. Recently speaking to the Hallmark Mysteries & More podcast, the Grey’s alum admitted she wanted to learn more about the gritty character she was portraying.

If we do get a Season 2, we’ll get to see what twists and turns her life took before she landed in Fletcher’s Grove.

Drew wants to dive so deep into her Emily Lane character and peel off the layers of her past trauma. “I think she has a past that’s haunted her that she’s trying to extricate herself from because she wants to be home.”

  1. It is getting difficult to become invested in Hallmark series. It seems as soon as I fall in love with the characters, Hallmark Mystery channel betrays me. I like Mistletoe Mysteries quite a bit. Do I dare hope for a future for the show? I am vulnerable enough that I can’t muster up much hope.

  2. I absolutely want a second season. It’s completely unfair to the viewers to the viewers to not resolve a storyline, especially after ending with such a massive cliffhanger.

    1. We love the show and definitely need a season 2!!! I really hope Hallmark doesn’t drop the ball ok this one like other shows. I absolutely despise when a show is dropped and left on a cliffhanger!
