On this season of 1000-Lb Best Friends, fans are seeing the friend group experience new and exciting things. Vannessa Cross is now under 200 lbs and qualified for skin removal surgery. Meanwhile, Scott, Tina, Ashely, and Meghan are working toward their own personal goals.

While fans are excited to see Vannessa Cross succeed, some think she was wildly inconsiderate of Scott Bagwill during last week’s episode.

1000-Lb Best Friends Star Vannessa Cross Means Well

When 1000-Lb Best Friends Season 3 premiered, Vannessa Cross was at odds with Meghan Crumpler and Ashely Sutton. The other women wouldn’t speak to Vannessa, citing that she became too bossy once she started losing weight. Meanwhile, Vannessa shared her side of the story, confessing that she just wanted to help her friends succeed too.

After meeting Scott Bagwill at Dr. Procter’s bariatric support group, Vannessa decided to take him under her wing. At first, fans enjoyed seeing the unlikely pair explore and engage in new activities together. But after last week’s new episode, some think Vannessa forgot what it was like to struggle with her weight.

Last week, Vannessa and Scott went shopping to pick out new clothes. Vannessa felt over the moon to try on clothes straight from the rack. After struggling with her weight for most of her life, she felt like a brand new person.

However, fans didn’t appreciate how she pushed Scott to try on clothes that were obviously too small for him.

Vannessa Makes Scott Feel Wildly Insecure While Shopping

TLC shared a clip from last week’s episode on Instagram, featuring Scott and Vannessa picking out clothes. In the scene, Scott looks at a winter puffer but puts it back after realizing it’s a 2X and likely too small for him. But Vannessa forces him to try it on anyway.

Of course, it doesn’t fit and the whole situation leaves Scott feeling incredibly embarrassed and insecure.
