Mariah Carey is famous for her holiday staple, “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” heavily connecting her brand to the Christmas season. However, things were less than cheery during a recent Christmas show from the star. Reportedly, fans broke out into a fight at the star’s concert.

Mariah Carey Was Singing Her Christmas Staple When The Fight Took Place

Carey, who has been dubbed the “Queen of Christmas,” is currently on her Christmas Time tour. The tour is meant to help honor the 30th anniversary of her 1994 album, Merry Christmas. This album is where her famous song, “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” comes from.

During a recent Mariah Carey concert, fans appeared to capture a brawl on their phone during the performance. Interestingly enough, the fight appeared to take place while Carey was performing “All I Want for Christmas Is You” on stage.

In a video uploaded to X, the drama started between two women in attendance. One pushed the other from behind. This spurred the other attendee to throw her drink in the other lady’s face.

One woman then began to put her hands on the other. A male companion of one of the women came to her defense, yelling at the other woman.

Other men then appeared to get involved and started fighting amongst themselves. According to The Independent, the men initially appeared to try to break up the fight, only to end up fighting themselves. One attendee could even be heard saying, “Where’s the f***ing security???”

The Christmas Tour Will Finish Up In Brooklyn

Multiple videos of the brawl surfaced on social media, meaning that the fight was caught through different angles. At least one uploader claimed to be sitting next to the concert goers who got into the fight.

At this time, Carey herself hasn’t spoken out about the fight. It is unclear if she was aware of the situation during the time of her show.

Carey previously started off the 20-date tour in California on November 6. Her next stop will be in Boston.

Carey is also expected to make stops in Baltimore, Raleigh, Pittsburgh, and Belmont Park. The tour will wrap up in Brooklyn, New York, on December 17.
