‘GMA’ Offers Up 2024 Holiday Card, But It’s Missing Two Hosts

Good Morning America has released its new 2024 holiday card for fans. The online card shows most of the hosts smiling and wishing people the best. However, many fans noticed that not all the hosts were on the card. Two GMA faces are missing, and fans are not happy.

Here is who didn’t make the cut for the Good Morning America holiday card.

Who Isn’t On The GMA Holiday Card?

The new GMA holiday card is a festive one. With nine squares, each image has holiday lights and a snow-covered backdrop. One image has a GMA holiday ornament, one said “Happy Holidays,” one said “Merry Christmas,” and one had Santa Claus. The other five had the show’s hosts.

This included Robin Roberts, Michael Strahan, George Stephanopolous, Meteorologist Ginger Zee, and entertainment correspondent Lara Spencer. However, this made some people concerned because there were two important members of the show’s cast missing:

• “You are missing @samchampion and @giobenitez”
• “Sam is missing.”
• “It’s our own version of The Brady Bunch.”

Gio Benitez, 39, is the weekend host of Good Morning America, and Sam Champion, 63, is the part-time weatherman. While the card didn’t include these two faces, it seems that many fans still appreciated it and loved the fact that the hosts were wishing them a happy holiday season.

GMA stills photographer Heidi Gutman took the photos. An Instagram video was posted showing each of the hosts getting ready to have their pictures taken for the card.

Not All GMA Employees Are Happy This Holiday Season

This is some good news during a week where Good Morning America has seen some bad news. While the show is moving into a new, upscale building, the people still working in its original location say they are working without heat.

According to staffers, the heat went out at the building, and since the show is moving, no one seems willing to fix it. They also said the lack of heat makes the entire building smell bad, which lowers employees’ morale. They also say the Wi-Fi is out, which makes researching and working on topics even more difficult.

It also doesn’t help that the viewership has been dropping, and the show is constantly losing to The Today Show in the ratings. With everyone pushed to find a way to turn things around, it isn’t the best vibe heading into Christmas.
