A comedian who recently appeared as a contestant on America’s Got Talent, has passed away. The comedian, who was 39 at the time of his death, had been touring and performing with various comedy gigs prior to his passing. Fans and fellow comedians have been sharing their condolences on social media.

The America’s Got Talent Alum Appeared During Season 16

The contestant appeared on America’s Got Talent in 2021 as part of the show’s sixteenth season. During this time, he managed to reach the semifinals.

Law enforcement recently revealed that comedian, Kabir “Kabeezy” Singh, passed away this past Wednesday. Singh was believed to be in the San Francisco Bay Area at the time of his death. He was 39 at the time of his passing.

At this time, authorities are waiting on the results of a toxicology report to determine Singh’s cause of death. According to TMZ, it is believed the comedian died of natural causes.

The publication also noted that Singh was believed to have had a history of health issues before his death. However, the investigation is still ongoing.

According to his IMDB page, Singh was born in Portalnd, Oregon. He also lived in India from the age of nine to thirteen.

The comedian had a few television credits on his profile. Notably, Singh appeared in the Family Guy episode, “Road to India.” He also hosted the special, Kabir Singh: Retiring Material. The comedian’s Instagram page also emphasized his work being featured on Comedy Central and the BBC.

A Friend Of Singh’s Shared More Information On Facebook

This past year, Singh had been performing stand-up comedy gig across the country. His most recent performance appeared to be in early November.

Jeremy Curry, a friend of Singh’s, also shared his condolences and more information on Singh’s passing with a Facebook post, which notably featured a photo of Singh. As he wrote, “It’s My Deepest Regrets to let Everyone Know that Kabir Singh has passed away…”

“[Singh] passed away peacefully in his sleep and this is the most devastating post I’ve posted….Services will be Saturday December 14 at 8:30 am @ Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward… Please keep his family and fiancé in your thoughts and prayers….I Love you bro.”

On YouTube, many fans having been sharing their condolences on a video of Singh on America’s Got Talent‘s YouTube page. As one user, known as “Hello Vanna” wrote, “So grateful to have shared a stage with him and picked his brain. Met him at the Sacramento Punchline back in 2016 and performed with him throughout the years.”

“[Singh] ALWAYS killed it, whether it was a huge show at the Comedy Store or a hole in the wall in Fresno, California. We lost a great one, thankful for those YouTube videos.”
