This last week, one of the season’s most popular competitors was eliminated on Survivor 47. While this season is anyone’s game, Kyle Ostwald ended up going home on the reality competition series, dropping the contenders down to the Final 7. However, there is a chance that Kyle will be back before anyone has a chance to miss him.

It seems that he might be one of the people invited to Survivor 50, the next all-star season. Here is what you need to know.

With that said, Kyle will not just go to the jury and vote for the winner. According to rumors, he might be invited back to compete again when Survivor 50 rolls around. Kyle showed a great attitude even after this elimination, trying to make the people he voted out feel confident about themselves heading into the next week.

Jeff Probst already said he was considering one of the contestants from Survivor 47 for the all-star 50th anniversary season (via Monsters & Critics). He didn’t say who he was going to invite, but there is a good chance that it will be Kyle. With Kyle playing the game so well and being such a good sport, it fits the description that Jeff made about the sort of players he wants on Survivor 50.

What Does Jeff Probst Want For Survivor 50?

Jeff Probst said he was having difficulty picking out who to invite to Survivor 50. He said that he put a ton of names on a bulletin board and started to eliminate them one by one as he whittled the list down to the total needed for the season.

He wants the season to be a celebration of the show and competition, and he doesn’t want to invite people with a score to settle. Instead, he wants people who love to play the game, and Kyle showed that love in Survivor 47.

“Imagine you have just an empty whiteboard and you can write anything you want on it. The first word that came to me was celebrate,” Jeff said. “And that’s important to me because that’s going to guide us into our creative. We want fans to be happy. We want this to be a celebration.”

This will be the first all-star Survivor season of the New Era, but there will be players from all eras of the show for the anniversary edition.
