Courtney Waldrop Shares Heartbreaking Death Of Father
Sweet Home Sextuplets star, Courtney Waldrop’s “daddy” has sadly passed away. The former TLC reality star has been posting updates over the last few days, asking for prayers. Unfortunately, this latest update is not one anyone was looking to see. Keep reading for further details.
Courtney Waldrop Shares Heartbreaking Death Of Father
It has been a very hard several days for Courtney Waldrop and her family. She has shared how her “daddy” has been sick and has simply asked followers for prayers. About a week ago, Courtney posted a video of her kids going to visit her father. She explained he had been in the hospital for over two weeks as he had pulmonary fibrosis. A lung transplant was hoped for and Courtney wanted him to be considered for one. It was unclear what would happen from there but she had hope. She also noted how he had been a fan favorite on Sweet Home Sextuplets so it was important for her to keep fans and followers updated.
After her father had been transferred, Courtney offered another update. She explained that she had been asked about her dad a lot and felt she needed to share the latest of what was going on. Not only were his lungs failing but so was his heart. This was far more critical than anyone had anticipated. A transplant would not be in the cards and he would now be in hospice care. Obviously, this was traumatic to Courtney and her family but they were still taking it in stride. Then, on the evening of Sunday, December 1st, she shared that her sweet father had passed away.

In an Instagram post, Courtney Waldrop shared a sparkling and vivid photo of her “daddy.” He looked more alive than ever before and broke the news that he had passed away. She beautifully painted a picture of what his life was like now, as he was likely in perfect health and spirit, pain-free, as well. Finally, she noted that the photo was a year old, taken right after his diagnosis.
