’90 Day Fiance’ Armando Rubio Calls Statler’s Claims ‘Blatant Lies’
90 Day Fiance star Armando Rubio is back with new statements following Statler Riley’s latest claims against TLC. The two have been going back and forth on social media after Statler claimed that the network stole her idea and never credited her for it. However, Armando and Kenny called her out, saying that the idea had already been in TLC’s books before she suggested it. But it seems Statler is not done with her nasty claims. Keep reading to see Armando calling out Statler for her ‘blatant lies.’
90 Day Fiance: Armando Rubio & Statler Riley’s Online Feud
Statler and Armando’s online feud began earlier this year. Statler took to IG Stories to share that her idea of bringing the struggling couples under one roof was stolen by TLC. Her allegations come after the network brought the couples into a mansion for the Tell-All segment of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? Season 8.
Armando shut her down, saying that they had spoken about it weeks ago, way before Statler made the suggestion. Things got more complicated from there to the point where Armando’s husband, Kenny, had to step in. But Statler insists that TLC picked up her idea, adding that Armando and Kenny are TLC’s puppets.
Statler Shares Reason Behind Tell-All Absence
Statler Riley recently uploaded a podcast in which she discusses the reason behind her Tell-All absence. According to the 90 Day Fiance star, she believes she was the only person who wasn’t invited for a Tell-All segment, but she feels honored to cut her “puppet strings,” adding that she’ll keep speaking out about it.
Statler said some of the process they had to take to be on the show. One was meeting a “writer” to “develop” her character. Statler added that the writer wanted to know everything that happened in her life before saying there are parts that the writer will latch on to to make a storyline. One of them was when she admitted she was “hypersexual” in her 20s, but she appeared on the show at the age of 32 and wasn’t very interested in it anymore. But Statler added, “But they were definitely pushing me to be very sexual and always thinking about sex. Which wasn’t me.”
90 Day Fiance: Armando Rubio Calls Statler’s Claims ‘Blatant Lies’
Armando also appeared in another podcast to share his thoughts about Statler’s claims. The 90 Day Fiance star said there’s no such thing as a writer who “creates” a story for the participants. He added, “These are blatant lies for podcast views and a narrative to excuse her behavior.” Armando Rubio insisted that Statler’s allegations don’t happen at all, adding that Statler is only doing a “disservice” to those who supported her.
