Diddy Combs Accused Of Hanging Woman Off 17th Story Balcony
Court documents claim a woman has sued Sean “Diddy” Combs for allegedly threatening her life. It’s been claimed that the rapper and music mogul attempted to dangle her over a 17th floor balcony. Diddy’s legal team has also issued a response to these claims.
The Woman Claims To Have Met Diddy Through His Ex
Sean “Diddy” Combs has been facing legal troubles since September. The mogul is currently facing various charges, including sex trafficking, though he has denied these allegations.
Adding to these legal battles, fashion designer Bryana “Bana” Bongolan has filed a 17-page suit against the mogul this week. She is accusing him of sexual battery and false imprisonment, among other allegations.
Bongolan claims that she witnessed various instances of abuse between Diddy and his ex-girlfriend, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura. As Bongolan claims, she met Ventura in 2014 while working in Los Angeles.
As Bongolan claims, it was through Ventura that she was able to meet Combs. At the time, she reportedly believed this would lead to collaborations between him and his businesses.
Until 2018, Bongolan did work on a few projects for Combs. This included album covers, music videos, and even a clothing line, which she reportedly worked with Ventura on.
However, Bongolan claims, “Ultimately [these collaborations] only led to terror and abuse at his hands.” At one point, however, it’s alleged that Diddy dangled the fashion designer over the side of Ventura’s own balcony.
A Legal Representative For Diddy Released A Statement Over The Claims
The alleged incident is said to have taken place on Sept. 26, 2016. As she claims, Bongolan and her girlfriend were staying over at Ventura’s L.A. apartment. By the time Combs stormed in, Bongolan reportedly told her girlfriend to hide in a locked bathroom.
Allegedly, Ventura was there and told Diddy that Bongolan’s girlfriend was present. The lawsuit claims, “Recognizing the threat of so many witnesses to his assault, [Combs] pulled Ms. Bongolan back over the balcony.” In continues that “he did not release her. In a last fit of violence, he slammed Ms. Bongolan onto the balcony’s patio furniture, including a table.”
The suit, which has been filed by attorney James R. Nikraftar of Miller Barondess, claims, “The only purpose of dangling someone over a balcony is to actually kill them or to intentionally terrorize them and rob them of any concept of dominion over their own bodily autonomy and safety.” It continues, “Ms. Bongolan refuses to allow this fear to control the rest of her life and brings this action to demand that Mr. Combs takes responsibility for the trauma he intentionally and maliciously [inflicted.]”
According to Rolling Stone, a legal representative for Diddy claims the mogul has denied these recent allegations. As shared in a statement to the publication, “Anyone has the right to file a lawsuit, regardless of the evidence they may or may not have.”
The statement continued, “Since last year, Ms. Bongolan has expressed an intention to sue Mr. Combs and has sought legal representation to pursue her claims. Mr. Combs firmly denies these serious allegations and remains confident they will ultimately be proven baseless.”
