The Survivor 47 season finale will be different than in previous seasons. For most of the reality TV show’s run, the finale has been a three-hour special over one night. This year, the show made the finale supersized at four hours. However, it will instead play out over two nights, spread a week apart.

Here is when fans can expect to see the upcoming Survivor finale.

Survivor 47 Finale To Play Out Over Two Nights

The Survivor 47 season finale will be two nights instead of one. It will be a pair of two-hour episodes instead of one single three-hour episode. The episodes will also be a week apart. This means fans will have to wait a full week to see the conclusion of the finale and who wins this season.

However, there won’t be a reunion show this season, which is another huge change. This means the final four hours will be almost all action and suspense. According to reports, the network cut the reunion to save money (via Monsters & Critics). The network paid the players who stayed for the live finale a bonus, but they won’t have to do that now.

This also means that the show will have instant reactions from the players as soon as the jury segment ends and they choose the new winner.

As for when this finale will air for fans to see, the first part will drop on CBS on Wednesday, December 11 at 8/7c. The second part, and the reveal of the winner, will be on Wednesday, December 18 at 8/7c. An episode is also coming on December 4 to set up for the two-part season finale.

Who Will Win Survivor 47?

These people are in the Survivor 47 Final 7: Rachel LaMont, Andy Rueda, Sam Phalen, Sue Smey, Caroline Vidmar, Genevieve Mushaluk, and Teeny Chirichillo. They are competing for the crown as the new champion.

While there are seven players left, it is still too early to call a winner for the series. Plus, as Season 46 proved, anything could happen when the jury deliberates, and people can still switch alliances after joining the jury.

Kyle went home this week, dropping the competitors to seven people. Caroline, Sue, Rachel, and Teeny made a new agreement to be “the final four women.” However, Genevieve fashioned a fake idol in a new plan with Sam and Andy. It looks like the factions are forming for the race to the finale, and right now, its anyone’s game.

Who do you think will win Survivor 47 in the two-part season finale? Do you think someone has played a better game overall, or is this a year where anyone could win it in the end? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
