‘1000-Lb Best Friends’ Fans Confused By Tina Arnold’s New Diet
Tina Arnold is no longer involved with 1000-Lb Best Friends, but she’s still interested in keeping her reality star status alive on social media.
She loves sharing weight loss tips with fans, but several followers feel a little confused by her latest diet plan.
Tina Arnold Publicly Shares Her New Eating Plan
Tina Arnold was replaced by another woman named Tina, and the irony wasn’t at all lost on fans. The new Tina seems focused and ready to lose weight. But even so, many 1000-Lb Best Friends users are still interested in keeping up with the old Tina.
“Are we still allowed to talk about old Tina?” a Reddit user wrote on the platform. “Because I still follow her on Instagram and she’s on this “new” diet and she’s been documenting it every day but none of it is healthy and it irks me lol.”
Other users knew exactly what the OP meant and agreed the new diet plan was a bit odd.
“Day Eleven (I think) 🥴,” Tina captioned an Instagram post. She went on to share details of her diet plan for the day, including a bag of goldfish for breakfast, peanut butter crackers for lunch, and country-fried turkey with mashed potatoes, green beans, and cornbread for dinner.

The TLC star has had a habit of deleting posts lately, so one Redditor took a screenshot of the dinner. It looked delicious, but 1000-Lb Best Friends viewers felt a little confused about the health benefits of the meal.
Other 1000-Lb Best Friends Viewers Weigh In
Reddit users agreed this was very typical behavior for Tina Arnold. She slammed TLC and the production team, but she’s still using her previous reality star status to keep her fanbase alive and give unsubstantiated weight loss advice to her followers.
- “She’s ridiculous. Not long ago she was going to do a subscription thing where if you paid for it you got to see what she was eating for every meal 😂”
- “This is not how to lose weight at all it’s all snacks and empty calories and there is way too much food and gravy on that plate.”
- “I looked at her Instagram and I call BS on that’s what she’s eating a day and she had her Thanksgiving calorie count wrong.”
- “She still uses ‘1kbf’ in her username so clearly she wants to use the show to stay relevant. Talk away! Give us the tea!”
