Diddy Stuck In NYC Jail For Thanksgiving, What’s The Menu?
Sean “Diddy” Combs is expected to be spending Thanksgiving at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center while facing various legal charges. A source has recently shared what the mogul will get to eat on the holiday. In fact, details of the mogul’s regular menu have also come to light.
Diddy Had Probably Hoped To Be Home For Thanksgiving
Diddy’s legal team has offered a variety of bail proposals since the mogul was placed at the Brooklyn center, allowing him to be placed under house arrest. Presumably, the mogul had been hoping to spend Thanksgiving at home.
However, while a judge’s decision on his most recent bail hearing is expected to come out this week, it’s unlikely he’ll be home for Thanksgiving. In fact, his expected menu has recently come to light.
According to The U.S. Sun, at the start of the day, Diddy is expected to recieve a variety of breakfast options. This includes cereal, fruit, and pastries.
When it comes to dinner, Diddy will have the option of a turkey roast or a hot and sour tofu dinner. This will be paired with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables.
This meal will come with all the trimmings, including cranberry sauce and turkey gravy. He will also be given two dinner rolls with margarine. As the Federal Bureau of Prisons noted, he will also be able to have an assorted holiday pie and a beverage.
Diddy Also Recently Had To Celebrate His Birthday Behind Bars
This Thanksgiving-style meal is actually expected to be the mogul’s lunch. Later in the day, he will be served another meal made up of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, some chips and fruit, and a drink.
The publication also noted some of the other meals Diddy is expected to receive this week. This includes “lasagna, chicken tacos, steak and cheese subs, BBQ beef, and hamburgers.”
The publication noted inmates generally receive their best meals on holidays, including Christmas and the Fourth of July, while citing The Frank Report. In addition to this, inmates often get a few more privileges on these days. They are often given time off from their usual work assignments and can even sleep in past the standard 6 AM wake-up.
While it seems enjoyable, the publication noted the food still might not be that good quality. As it was noted, federal prisons usually spend around $3 per day on each inmates’ food. In comparison, families spend around three times that.
As previously reported, this isn’t the first celebration Diddy has had behind bars. During his last birthday, he received a call from his children wishing him a happy birthday, complete with a cake.
Diddy has been facing various legal charges since his indictment in September. His upcoming trial is expected to take place in May 2025.
