‘1000-Lb. Sisters’ Amy Slaton Reveals Dirty Habit
Weight isn’t the only thing troubling 1000-Lb. Sisters star, Amy Slaton. During last week’s episode, she unveiled another dirty habit she’s dealing with. Keep reading to find out more about what that is.
1000-Lb. Sisters Amy Slaton Opens Up
There’s a lot going on right now on 1000-Lb. Sisters. While everyone has their own struggles, Amy is on her own journey to clean up her house and kick her hoarding habit. In the most recent episode, she reveals that all the clutter in her house comes from inherited hoarding issues. Apparently, both Amy’s mom and grandma hoarded. So, Amy is trying to stop it in her home early Realtor.com reports.
“Our family does have hoarding issues,” she says. “Grandma hoarded. Mom hoarded. Now, I got hoarding tendencies.”
Because of that, she enlists the help of her sister Tammy and brother Chris to help her tackle some spring cleaning. She explains that having them there will help her make the tough decisions. She even got a giant dumpster to make the process easier for Amy and the family.
“I’m hoping with Tammy and Chris here, I won’t think about it as much,” Amy reveals. “I’ll just be like, ‘OK, throw it away’—instead of ‘That was Gage’s first toy’ or ‘Gage got that for his birthday.’ You know, I’ll be like, ‘Throw it away. I haven’t seen it in six months. They haven’t played with it’-type deal.”
Of course, the whole thing doesn’t go quite as smoothly as that. Amy still struggles to get rid of several things while the team sorts through the piles of clutter. However, she was able to dispose of several items.
What Else Is Going On?
As mentioned above, there’s a lot going on with all of the family members this season on 1000-Lb. Sisters. Most notably, Amanda Halterman revealing she’s moving to Florida to be with her boyfriend, RJ. This news comes after a massive fight with Tammy Slaton, forcing Tammy out of Amanda’s house she was renting.
Of course, despite the drama, this news leaves the whole family devastated, especially Chris who works hard to be the mediator between all of his sisters. However Chris can relax, as previously reported, this relationship may not have lasted.
Apparently, despite all of this drama about her moving to Florida to be away from the family, Amanda is back in Kentucky now. She deleted all traces of RJ from her social media and even claims that he ended up ghosting her.
