The new Sarah Drew-led Hallmark+ Mistletoe Murders series is a big hit. Sleuthers and Christmas movie fans have united in praising this fantastic new series. Besides Sarah Drew, this series also stars Peter Mooney, and Sierra Marilyn Riley.

Two Of Three Mysteries Of Mistletoe Murders Are Not In Audible Original Series

Mistletoe Murders is one of the most popular Audible Original Series on that Amazon platform. Created by Ken Cuperus, this is a mystery in a mystery series. Sleuthers and Christmas fanatics love this series that takes place in Fletcher’s Grove, narrated by the mysterious Emily Lane. The audio series has already released Season 3.

However, this is Season 1 of the Hallmark+ series, and it already has made some changes. But that is ok because Ken Cuperus, who created the Audible Series, is the showrunner and one of the writers of the Hallmark+ series. Just as in the Audible series, each mystery is two episodes. Each season has six total episodes.

In the first mystery, “Poison In A Pear Tree,” the ending has a surprising change. Next, “Peril Of The Belles” and “Death Of A Humbug” are two totally new mysteries. This gives fans of the original something brand new. Here are the synopses of each.

In “Belles,” the Hallmark+ synopsis is, “When the choir attacks escalate, Emily and Sam grow closer as they work together to find the culprit. Emily helps Violet out of a precarious situation by tapping into her dark past.”

Next, in “Humbug, “The murder of the town Scrooge leads Emily and other shopkeepers to A Christmas Carol-themed scavenger hunt orchestrated by the victim. Emily tries to keep Sam at arm’s length.”

Third Episode Is Sarah Drew’s Favorite In Hallmark+ Mystery Series

On Friday, TV Line shared a tasty tidbit about the final mystery in Mistletoe Murders Season 1. They asked Sarah Drew for a “scoop” for the remainder of the season. This is what they reported.

“On the heels of this week’s installment of the Hallmark+ series, which peeled back the curtain a bit on Emily’s backstory, star and executive producer Sarah Drew tells me that Episode 5 and 6 are her personal favorites. ‘There’s a murder mystery that also involves a super-fun treasure hunt, she says, ‘and the guest cast is phenomenal!'”
