When Andrew Walker, Tyler Hynes, and Paul Campbell recently spoke to People Magazine, they revealed that fans will send them DMs about their Hallmark movies. While the trio admits to responding they are also cautious. They don’t want fans to be scammed. Tyler Hynes shared, “We have to be careful, to be quite honest.” He then continued.
The internet’s a little bit wild in terms of fake accounts and scammers, and the people that come to this network are so lovely and vulnerable that come to this network. So, we do have to be very diligent and careful with how we engage with things to keep our audience safe in terms of being taken advantage of.
As for the messages, what do fans write them? Paul Campbell was happy to share that they “are all so lovely.” He continued, “They’re always along the lines of, ‘I love this movie for this reason’ or ‘I’ve been going through this and I found this in the movie that brought me comfort.”
