Treasure hunting is one thing. However, there are also times when the series seems to bring the paranormal into the equation. This is where fans start to question things. The urban legends are fun, but when the series emphasizes them, it makes it hard to take anything seriously.
Fans took to Reddit to discuss whether it is real or a satire:

- “When Oak Island is too real.”
- “I feel the same. How do you feel about “Skin walker Ranch?”
- “I dont know… it seems real, theyre just different types of people… like The Alaskan Bush characters .. just eccentric I guess.”
Blind Frog Ranch On Discovery
This isn’t the only time that fans have questioned Blind Frog Ranch. A Reddit thread from four years ago also questioned whether the show was all set up and scripted. Fans then, too, said it all seemed really fake.
There is also evidence that some people found concerning the show’s credits. The credits call the people on the show as “talent,” which some people claim means they are actors and not real treasure hunters.
Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch is a Discovery Channel show depicting a family hunting for buried treasure in Utah. Like The Curse of Oak Island, they want to find a mythical treasure that they are sure exists there, but they have gone many seasons without getting any closer to the treasure.
It all began when Duane Ollinger’s family bought a 160-acre plot in Utah. Duane’s dad believed the treasure was there, and now he is looking for it with his own son, Chad.
