Amanda Kloots Calls Alan Bersten “Mean”
Amanda Kloots was Alan Bersten’s partner on Season 30 of Dancing With The Stars. This was three seasons ago. On a recent podcast, she called Alan mean.
“He was very mean to me. Growing up Russian, growing up in that dance atmosphere. And he did see a lot of potential in me, and he saw that we could possibly win this thing.”
She went on to say that he would yell at her a lot. This led to her bottling up her feelings and being livid inside. She did not speak on the issue in interviews as she did not want to ruin their partnership. However, fans are shocked to hear that she felt this way. He seems to be nothing but nice in the dance room.
She Rethinks What She Said And Clarifies
Amanda clarified what she was trying to say on the podcast. It seems she did not mean it the way it came across.
“We became best of friends during DWTS and we still are today. We joked then and now about how tough he was on me but believe me I grew up in the ballet world knowing really tough teachers. We also laughed a lot, cried and built an incredible partnership in that time!”
Fans think she could have just meant he was tough on her during rehearsals. Not necessarily that he was mean to her. However, it still made fans wonder what happened when cameras weren’t rolling that would make her say this.
It seems that she thinks Alan was tough on her in the rehearsal room. However, she took back calling him mean and made sure people knew they were still close. Amanda wanted everyone to know that they were on good terms, and she did not mean it negatively. However, fans were still shocked to hear that she thought this way.
