Amanda Halterman Explains Man Who They Call Dad
Amanda Halterman has explained who the man they call dad is. Fans have been wondering this for a while.
This man that is our dad is not our dad by DNA. Um, he is just the man that my uncle worked for 35 years ago. And we just needed some place to go that was safe. And, um, just so we could be kids. So, my uncle took us out there, and now, um, we bring our kids out there and their kids bring their kids. My dad says he never knew he needed us until years later. You know and he stepped up and he’s our dad because he chose to be not because he has to be.
Fans loved finally hearing this story. They assured Amanda in the comments that family did not have to be blood, and he is an amazing man for doing that.

to me he should have lefy yhem alone cause obviously they didnt learn compassion for siblings or not to joke about each others disabilities
Oh, and that was his fault? I think they all would be worse had it not been for him. Didn’t you read how positive Amanda was about him? I’d be more concerned about their hateful, non-supportive, highly critical mother. If anybody taught them the traits you mentioned, my money is on mom.
