‘The Voice’ Adam Levine’s Return Date Announced
Fans of The Voice will see a familiar face return as a coach on the show’s 27th season. Singer Adam Levine is set to return as after a notable hiatus. In fact, the date marking his return has been announced.
Adam Levine Briefly Appeared In 2023 With Maroon 5
Levine is the frontman and lead vocalist of Maroon 5. In the world of reality television, he is also known as one of the original coaches of The Voice, starting in 2011.
During his time on the show, multiple winners came from his team, notably from the first, fifth, and ninth seasons.
Levine’s co-hosts on the original panel included Christina Aguilera, CeeLo Green, and Blake Shelton. Over the years, however, viewers would see all sorts of viewers come and go.
Levine himself would leave the show with the seventeenth season. The singer briefly appeared on the show in 2023, but as part of Maroon 5 for a performance, not as a coach. However, it has since been announced he would return for Season 27.
Levine Will Team Up With A New Set Of Coaches
For his return, Levine will join up with Michael BublĂ©, John Legend, and Kelsea Ballerini. Ballerini had originally appeared as a “Comeback Stage” coach during the 15th and 20th season, but will be part of the main panel during the 27th season.
At this time, it’s unclear if Levine’s return will extend past this season. However, fans are still getting at least one more season with him back on the show.
While fans have been aware of Levine’s return, the release date has also recently been announced. Pop Culture noted that NBC 2025 midseason lineup.
Levine is expected to return to the series on February 3, 2025. Fans can watch the episode on 8 p.m. ET.
On Instagram, The Voice promoted the new panel in a pinned video, showing the four coaches in succession. As the caption read, the video was “a sneak peek at your Spring 2025.”

Levine was the final coach profiled in the video and ended it by sharing, “Team Adam is back. Feel bad for other teams. Let’s go.”
The publication also noted that the show’s Season 26 is “still going strong.” It was noted that the live semi-finals will air on December 2 and 3. The live finals will then air on December 9, with the winner and voting results revealed the following night. New episodes are expected to air on Mondays and Tuesdays.
