Moriah Plath Out Of Hiding, Talks Leaving Instagram
On Instagram, Moriah Plath decided to come back and fill fans in a bit. She held a Q&A session on the platform and said, “Ask me about my dog my music or my new car 🙃.” Someone replied, “Not a question I hope you’re okay! Miss seeing your post!” Since fans were wondering about her, she took time to make a quick video to respond. She says, “Well, I can’t say not a single part of me missed Instagram. I’m glad to be back. I can’t promise I won’t take a break here and there. Sometimes that’s good. But I’m here now.” However, she blankly stares off and adds, “And I’m starting over.” Speaking to her friend, she whispers, “Sad.” Undoubtedly, her confidence has been shaken by the whole ordeal.
Then, she reiterates almost seeming to convince herself, “I’m starting over.” Someone gives her a high five from the side and reassures her, “Yeah, it’s okay.” Moriah repeats, “It’s okay to start over sometimes.” Then, she looks at her friend, “Right?” The friend encourages her saying, “Yeah, always.” She makes a face and they giggle before shutting off the camera. But Moriah has kept her content limited. Seemingly, she is battling her inner demons after Matthew Craven’s interview. But for now, she has her dog, her music, her new car, and her friends to help her through it.
Starting Over
Following her theme of “starting over,” Moriah Plath has released a new song, “Run.” Part of the song talks about her running away and starting over.
“Building new life, I’m starting over. Running so fast, can’t run me over. I can’t out run what I’m running from. – Life will be better then.
I used to want a million things, go a million places, had a million dreams. Never settle down, I’m in the lost and found. I run from them, I run from you. I run to hide. And escape the truth of what I’m running from. Run.
I can’t out run. – Run. I run for the hills. Run for the sea. Anywhere but here. I can’t be, what I’m running from. Can’t out run me. Run, run.
I used to think the life of fame and a little more money make me smile again. It was never enough. Now I’m running and stuck. I used to dream of parties and lights everything they call living a life. I’m in a baseball cap hiding in the back.”
