Mama June Can’t Cope, Leaving Home Daughter Anna Died In
Mama June Shannon has never hidden how hard it has been since her daughter, Anna Cardwell passed away. December will mark one year since she left this Earth and it has been an immense struggle for the whole family. Now, June has shared she is leaving the home where Anna passed as it has been way too difficult, and understandably so. Keep reading for more details as to what else she shared about the move.
Mama June Done With Home Daughter Passed In
When Anna Cardwell was diagnosed with stage 4 adrenal carcinoma, her family stepped up to help. Mama June was living in Alabama because of her husband, Justin Stroud. She soon realized that she had to move back to Georgia to assist Anna. Though Anna was married to Eldridge Toney, she also had two young daughters, Kaitlyn and Kylee. Eldridge was working and not always available for emergencies so they all helped each other. This was especially vital at the end of Anna’s life.
She passed away in June’s home surrounded by all of her loved ones and they have remained in the home ever since. During all of this, June had to fight Anna’s ex-husband, Michael Cardwell for custody of Kaitlyn. Since he and Anna had a daughter, Kylee, he immediately got custody of her. Therefore, he felt the girls should stay together. More so, he claimed that he had raised Kaitlyn since she was a baby as her biological father was unknown. June was awarded custody of her granddaughter but now big changes are ahead.
According to a very lengthy Facebook post, Mama June, Justin Stroud, and Kaitlyn are moving. They cannot handle being in that home any longer as it is far too painful. Furthermore, they wake up every morning and it feels like the day they lost Anna. Right now, they are struggling to find a place so they have their sights set on a few different areas and are willing to buy rather than rent. Finally, Mama June is getting rid of a plethora of items in their home as they prepare to leave.
The Anniversary
Mama June wants to be out of their home by December 8th which is the day before the first anniversary of Anna Cardwell’s passing. What struck fans most was what they were selling on Facebook. There was an abundance of toasters and coffee makers that people could not get over:

Who the hell needs that many toasters and coffeemakers? Lol selling them all in bulk? I guess only a store or someone would buy that to resell cause that doesn’t make sense. Why June even has all that, idk.
- 23 of the same coffee maker… I wonder if they fell off the back of a truck 🤔
